I reported the problem that comment 13 is about.

The problem I'm seeing is not a duplicate of this bug. If I replace
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-linuxwacom.fdi with the file
attached to this bug, the change has no effect. I figured that this is
because the change to the config file was made for serial devices only
and I have a USB tablet. I moved the line <merge
key="input.x11_options.Button2" type="string">3</merge> to the earlier
group that isn't restricted to serial devices. This had the effect of
mapping the lower button on my Graphire2 stylus to the right mouse
button.

However, using "DBLCLICK 0" instead of "3" had no effect at all. It
didn't even degenerate to left single click. The button stayed as the
middle mouse button.

The problem I'm seeing goes away if I use metacity instead of compiz.
