Hi Bryce, Thanks for taking on this issue. I was stressed to much by the issue so I switched to fglrx for a while (the issue does not appear there).
After your comment I have done the following: $ sudo aptitude update $ sudo aptitude full-upgrade $ sudo aptitude remove fglrx $ sudo aptitude reinstall xserver-xorg-video-ati $ sudo shutdown -r now While reboot I could see that xserver-xorg-video-ati is being used instead of fglrx, since splash-screen looks way better with it. However after 10-15 mins the bug reappeared. :( Xorg log file is added as attachment. The dmesg output will follow shortly. ** Attachment added: "Xorg log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/43433051/Xorg.0.log -- [M52] screen is shaking (X1300) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/537160 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-ati in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
