I understood that this bug was collecting info for xmodmap problems.
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 on a Dell Latitude E6500, docked with a second monitor.
I use xmodmap to swap control and caps lock:
remove Lock = Caps_Lock
remove Control = Control_L
keysym Caps_Lock = Control_L
keysym Control_L = Caps_Lock
add Lock = Caps_Lock
add Control = Control_L
If I un-dock, then re-dock, these settings are lost.
