On the last ubuntu releases, i can't get my laptop to correctly connect
to external VGA device.
The VGA device is a LG 32" LCD (32LC41).
The laptop is a fujitsu siemens si 1520i with an intel video card.
The display preferences utility from ubuntu correctly identified the connected
monitors but:
a) there's no image on the connected LCD
b) the resolution of the laptop own display gets missed
