I've just marked bug #534894 as a dupe of this one, since that too is filed against the intel package and describes infrequent flickering that is comprised of extremely brief corruption of part of the screen. I think we're also all running fairly recent Intel chips. To quickly re-mention a comment I added to the dupe bug:
[09:18] < Sarvatt> tell them to boot with i915.powersave=0 and mention in the bug if that fixes it :) [09:18] < Sarvatt> that was default in -15 but not anymore in -16 -- Problem with X in Lucid on Lenovo T500 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/538648 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
