Hm... i checked with the 2.6.33 (non rc) kernel... Not solved my problem, but the result is a bit better, now i can't see the "OUT OF RANGE" message on my external screen while my ubuntu booting, but now i can set only "1024x768" as maximum resolution....
And seems the frequency detection a bit better (with the current [ubuntu] kernel 2.6.32.14 its sets to 800x...@85hz by default), now my monitor working in proper frequency... but i still can't use it at maximal resolution.... (except if i plug-in my monitor after boot-up...) I'll try to check the logs.... (maybe i'll find some useful...) (I attached my Xorg.log with 2.6.33 kernel...) ** Attachment added: "Xorg.log with 2.5.33 kernel..." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39919947/Xorg.0.log -- [GM45] Can't use external monitor at full resolution https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/524299 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
