I had to downgrade because of the nuisance that it caused. the 9.10 UNR kernel works flawlessly. As for powersave feature, all settings were greyed out when I tried to change them in gnome. I had no choice but to use what ever the defaults were. Sorry to drop the release but I needed something more feasible.
