** Description changed: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel Hello, I found this problem again in Karmic. These bug was marked as invalid (by me). I am reporting it again with newest drivers (2.9.0) and newest mesa 7.6.0. Kernel what I am using is 2.6.31-14. If i have compiz or native mesa composite enabled then scrolling became "tearing" slow and annoying (in Firefox, OpenOffice apps etc.) - try page http://www.webupd8.org/ (try it with / without composite enabled on Intel GM965)... with metacity all works fine. There was workaround with swapbuffers, but it doesn't actually works in Karmic. Sorry for my English.
