I have tested today the proprietary-video-improvements PPA with my 64-bit lucid (driver: 190.53-0ubuntu1). I have also updated my lucid today with the new xorg-server version (1.7.3.902-1ubuntu1). However, I couldn't get nvidia drivers to work with it. 3D (and thus compiz + emerald) was not working. Then again, the sevenmachines PPA version 195.22-0ububtu0 did work OK.
