It's not just the touchpad that works erratically. Same problem happens when I connect a wired USB mouse. Problem is same on my existing installation, which was upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10, and also on a fresh 9.10 install from a 9.10 64-bit iso download.
There was no such problem when I was running 9.04 and prior versions. I suggest this is a conflict between the mouse/touchpad driver and the graphics driver. The laptop is an HP Pavillion DV2275EA with integrated Intel 945GM graphics (shared RAM) Please help - I cannot use Ubuntu on this laptop and am forced to revert to Windows!!! -- Touchpad working erratically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/479888 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-evdev in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
