Thanks Marco, It seems you have a different issue. We have different video cards (mine is X200M, yours - Radeon Mobility 7500 ). My freezes happen not right away but over time when windows are being manipulated and only when I boot with the radeon.modeset=1 option. With the next 2.6.32* kernel update I get a locked system with a black screen and no ERROR entries. Thanks anyway!
