i have the same problem with my 1000he eeepc Laptop Intel 945 GME chipset ...i updated from the 9.04 to 9.10 Karmic and on Jaunty everythings was fine but with Karmic, i met big problems : The session works correctly then, though compiz can't be activated, and every graphic related things (even moving a window) seems very slow.
