Here are my findings on GTK4 when testing on GNOME-Xorg without the driver-side fix.
The NGL backend shows graphical corruption when resuming (but eventually resolves itself when presumably something causes the textures to be reloaded from disk), while the Vulkan backend breaks up completely with: vkGetFenceStatus(): The logical or physical device has been lost. (VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST) (-4) As expected, no issues with GTK4 applications when using the driver-side fix instead. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-560 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1876632 Title: [nvidia] Screen freeze or corrupted/missing textures when switching users, switching VTs or resuming from suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1876632/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
