Public bug reported:

I'm using Linux Mint 22.1. Recently xserver-xorg-input-libinput was
upgraded to 1.4.0. This caused the mouse cursor to move on its own,
generally to a corner.

My laptop is Portege Z30-C PT263E.

When using 1.4.0, if I disabled the stick using:

> xinput set-prop <id> "Device Enabled" 0

the problem stopped. This disables the stick (which I don't mind) but it
also disables the two buttons above the touchpad (which I use)

I've gone back to 1.2.1-1 and this has fixed the problem. I've re-
enabled the stick.

Please let me know if you need any more info.
