If I run nvidia-smi on my Kubuntu 24.10 with 550 or 560(more not tested), I get a message, see the attached file. When I run nvidia-smi for the first time, the message appears about 6 times. On the second run, maybe only 3 times.
__vm_enough_memory: pid: 15820, comm: nvidia-smi, bytes: 51539742720 not enough memory for the allocation However, OOMkiller does not appear, because the RAM remains stable and with free places(4GB used). GPU memory is using 260MB. So maybe it's a completely different problem, I don't know. ** Attachment added: "nvidia-smi.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-560/+bug/2084477/+attachment/5831338/+files/nvidia-smi.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-560 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2084477 Title: nvidia-smi runs out of memory with 24.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-560/+bug/2084477/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
