Thanks for the bug report. If you can then please try a USB-C monitor
cable, you should be able to find one that is HDMI on the other end.
That will allow you to avoid running the signal through the Nvidia card
and should provide a better experience.

Please also try selecting 'Ubuntu on Wayland' from the login screen.
Though that will only provide the best performance if you're using USB-C
instead of the HDMI port in this case.
