The fix for bug 2000649 has been requested for inclusion in a future
22.04 update. Other than waiting, the only options are:
* Use regular Ubuntu rather than Xubuntu, and you will get a Wayland
session by default so won't experience Xorg bugs.
* Use Xubuntu 22.10 instead of 22.04.
