Public bug reported:
The xeyes app only tracks the mouse pointer when the pointer is in a
window on the workspace in which the xeyes app was started. When you set
xeyes to be visible on all workspaces, there is no tracking when viewing
any other workspace than the original one. I am seeing several other
mouse hover problems and differences from before the upgrade. I recently
let the system upgrade itself from 20.x LTS to 22.x LTS.
