This bug is back in ubuntu 22.04, somehow. In the previous ubuntu version I was using it was possible to add workarounds via xinput rules, but the clickpad parameter seems to be absent from libinput quirks, instead it uses this kernel parameter? all three mouse buttons misbehave in various ways, although the right button is most obvious, being completely disabled
