After connecting via “real” DP-cable the situation is slightly different.
The external monitor now is showing a picture when booting which was not the case while connected via HDMI. `xrandr` now shows connection via DP-2. When going to standby after waking up monitor settings are changed to “single display”. When I change it back to “join” the external monitor will wake up and show a picture. So that’s an improvement at least although still funny. I wonder how it would go with DP connected via usb. I also conducted a firmware update but to no avail. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1915382 Title: external Monitor shows »No Signal« after dpms sleep To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/1915382/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
