Hello.
The X server is hanging right after launching gdm. about 2 times/3
During hanging, the screen is flickering between blanck/black/blanck/black.
After hanging, Ctrl+alt+Fn did not work most of the time.
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg didn't help.
Putting an empty xorg.conf didn't help.
BUT... When I put a live CD of knoppix 6, the X never hang ! I attached the
xorg.conf of the knoppix.
So I tried to put the knoppix's xorg.conf in my xubuntu, but it doesn't worked !
Attached are the successful and the failed Xorg.0.log, done with the
same xorg.conf.
$ lspci |grep VGA

The laptop is a Gericom Hummer 2460e running xubuntu 9.04 alternate with
LXDE. 256Mo ram.
