Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) reached end-of-life on April 25,2019.
Bug report did not expire due to bug watch
Upstream report suggests issue *should* now be fixed
This issue has sat incomplete for over five years now without any
response so I'm going to close it as "Invalid".
Please feel free to re-open this report if this is still an issue when
using a currently supported release of Ubuntu.
