It appears you're using Intel graphics with the modesetting driver, so
you should always have a hardware cursor.
It also appears you're using 200% scaling on one monitor. Could you
please try:
* Disabling fractional scaling in Settings.
* Using a scaling factor of 100%, briefly.
* Selecting 'Ubuntu on Wayland' from the login screen.
** Tags added: cursor xrandr-scaling
** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => mutter (Ubuntu)
** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu)
