Hi mahen, I believe you should be able to construct an fdi file which enables all these functions for you, although my own fdi-fu is not strong enough to give you foolproof guidance. However, I think you can use the existing .fdi's in /etc/hal/fdi/policy as examples. If you come up with an .fdi you're reasonably happy with please post it here and we'll look into including it for Ubuntu.
