I'm changing it to linux because it's not just a problem when using the
proprietary nvidia drivers - see bug #447765. I get the problem with
both the proprietary nvidia driver AND the open-source nv driver, and
Hans B reported it on a system using an ATI card. Also it seems to have
happened with the update to either the 2.6.31-12 or -13 kernel.
I agree this is critical, or at the very least 'high' importance.
Could it be something to do with kernel mode setting?
