Also, if you remove it, does the crash still happen? 3) As per the sticker of the monitor itself (not from the Bug Description, or the result of a terminal command), could you please provide the full monitor manufacturer and model? 4) How are you connecting the monitor to the computer, via DisplayPort- to-DisplayPort cable, DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable, dongle/adapter, etc.? 5) If you keep the external monitor disconnected from the computer on boot up, and after login then plug it in does this provide a WORKAROUND? 6) Does the crash only happen after coming up from a cold boot, only after resuming from suspend, etc.? ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Low => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1771539 Title: Xorg crash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1771539/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
