** Description changed: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nv I was using the nvidia driver without issue up until recently when it started to corrupt textures (http://twitpic.com/de7ru). I've since tried to move to nv, but it is randomly locking up X. For what it's worth, this often occurs at GDM or during login when gnome-session starts spawning an infinite number of nautilus processes due to bug 325973. I've attached a full backtrace, strace, and version information. I am not using an xorg.conf configuration file. + + [lspci] + 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/PM/GMS, 943/940GML and 945GT Express Memory Controller Hub (rev 03) + Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device 7270 + 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G73 [GeForce 7300 GT] (rev a1) + Subsystem: Marvell Technology Group Ltd.
