It's certainly possible to log out, log in to an Xorg session, and then log out again/reboot to switch to NVIDIA. *If* you know that's what you need to do.
Since nvidia-settings silently fails *and* we default to Wayland if possible users who don't know this is what you need to do will find it very difficult to switch back from Intel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-settings in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1719945 Title: Silently fails in Wayland session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-settings/+bug/1719945/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
