Same pb with Kubuntu 16.04. Have nvidea card but not using their driver. A similar (same?) but is reported "resolved fixed" at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355928, but there is no indication of how to get the fix. I did a dist-upgrade yesterday.
