Dear Christopher Thank you for your attention. Allow me to include for you the crash file that is created in /var/crash. It does not make sense to me. Please note that I have no programming skill whatsoever. If in need, I strictly follow Ubuntu/Linux advice and instructions when it comes to using 'sudo' commands. Working with ubuntu for 4 years relatively flawless.
The problem experienced occurred primarily when transferring or downloading large files and folders and at large when transferring between flash drives or DVD's. Although it created a type of 'build up' of command strings on boot up on the screen, it never failed to boot up. It looked like it checked every command and placed a >ok< sign or >failed< marker ahead of each string. To not waste your valuable time, please note that the occurrence has stopped since I have upgraded/loaded ubuntu-16.04 with the usual efficiency. The hiccup seems to have solved itself.
