I have the same problem on HP Probook 355 with AMD A4-6210 APU (integrated AMD Radeon R3 Graphics) and additional faster Radeon R5 M240 chip - after installation of fglrx drivers only slower in APU integrated graphic hardware is used :(
I've tried on Ubuntu 14.04.4 with fglrx versions 15.200-0ubuntu0.5 and newer 15.200.1-0ubuntu1 installed - same problem with both :( Ubuntu-Baltix-14:~$ lspci |grep -i radeon 00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Mullins [Radeon R3 Graphics] 01:00.0 Display controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Jet XT [Radeon R5 M240] (rev ff) Later I try with latest fglrx 15.201, maybe this works correctly? ** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log from Ubuntu 14.04.4 with fglrx version: 2:15.200.1-0ubuntu1 installed" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/1410775/+attachment/4550860/+files/Xorg.0.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1410775 Title: [AMD Mullins + Jet XT] The graphic is not switchable with fglrx To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/1410775/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
