Not sure this is the right bug. There's a few bugs with similar problems. I upgraded to Karmic yesterday on a Dell Latitude D410 with a 915GM. Having significant problems with X.org. Absorbing 100% of CPU a lot of the time. Seems to be with Mozilla apps - Firefox and Thunderbird. Seems to be redrawing in these apps. Worse with heavy Web 2.0/AJAX apps on Firefox.
Compiz is disabled and cannot be enabled. The weird thing is I managed to enable Compiz last night and everything was fine.
