Finally a workaround was posted:
#sudo nano /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf
#Add the following lines
Section "Device"
Identifier "Intel Graphics"
Driver "intel"
Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"
EndSection
#reboot
