I have the same problem. I installed the Vivid enablement stack like suggested on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/LTSEnablementStack and using now the kernel 3.19 but sadly nothing changed.
If I switch from Unity to Gnome the flickering disappears but I would prefer to keep Unity as I like the launcher.
