Upgrading from an unsupported release after its packages have been removed from the archives is more work than it could be.
If you're lucky, running sudo do-release-update will run to completion and work for you. If you can recall the page that gave download links to an unsupported release, it'd be best to report those as bugs, too, to save other people the hassle.
