It did freeze on both 304 and 340 drivers. I was able to reproduce it by simple playing youtube video (HTML5 player ). It did then freeze in between 10-30min.
I have uninstalled Chromium a started to use Firefox instead. So far it is more stable and did not freeze after about 2h of playing videos. So now I am near to blame Chromium browser with proprietary Nvidia driver installed that it causes freezing my system. It needs more testing though.
