I use unity 7 as a pseudo-tiling window manager: I slide terminals and
firefox to the sides of the screen to get them to automatically expand
to fill half of the screen space, similar to the Windows 7 feature.

I stack a firefox over urxvt on one side of the screen and use middle-
click on the title bar to send the top window to the bottom of the
stack.

This has failed twice in the last few weeks.
