Thank you for your answer! However, I must say I don't feel comfortable with flashing BIOS right now, because I don't really know how to do it, and I am in a mission critical situation ATM, so I would rather not risk ending up with an unbootable laptop. I do understand, after your response, that a BIOS upgrade could fix this, but I would rather postpone it for after I am done with my critical tasks at hand.
