Jamie, your uname -a output indicates that you haven't installed a kernel that contains the other part of the fix. Go here: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/ Pick a kernel >= v3.19-rc1 and install the proper debs. Then make sure you choose that kernel at your bootloader.
