Ok, you're right. I thought that /usr/lib/nvidia-331-prime/ld.so.conf was used only for 64-bit, but it is indeed used for 32-bit as well. Same thing for /usr/lib/nvidia-331-prime/ld.so.conf, which point to both 64 and 32 bit mesa libraries.
