I am currently affected by this bug. I would like to help, but it's not at all obvious to me what tools I would use to investigate this. I am an experienced software developer, just not in the kernel, nor in the kernel's debugging tools/process. I am subscribed to emails for this bug, and would gladly do anything helpful to solve this as it impacts my development.
