For the record, I've also noticed this (running Trusty), and the workaround mentioned by jony_kalavera (mr-jony) re-enables the touchscreen for me. I can't say right now whether or not it fixes subsequent resumes.
Also - I've noticed that it only seems to affect the panel(s) and desktop (I'm using Gnome Flashback) - chrome seems to respond as normal to touch events. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xinput in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1275416 Title: touchscreen do not work after suspend/resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xinput/+bug/1275416/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
