After using the following fix 'sudo echo blacklist i2c_hid > /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist_i2c_hid.conf'
The trackpad works great but I run into another issue. After a few sleep/suspend sessions (exact number is not predictable), the trackpad stops working and I'm forced to reboot. Has anyone else run into this problem and/or know of an easy fix? Seems like the trackpad is failing to reinitialized after sleep/suspend but I can't figure out the exact cause or solution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1263319 Title: Touchpad not detected on Dell XPS 13 (9333) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1263319/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
