Hi, This was not fixed for me with latest drivers and kubuntu karmic. If I have no xorg.conf, I can login in kdm, but the drivers are not in use. If I generate a xorg.conf with aticonfig --initial and reboot I get the same crash instead of kdm. Anyone else with this problem. I am thinking about a fresh install...
