It started crashing again. Both using gnome-control-center & Dash. I researched the IOMMU=soft, and that hack is iffy at best. As described here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=168555
Using nvidia drivers doesn't freeze, but the user experience is choppy or sluggish.
