Indeed, it is very anoying to make presntation. Just want to say that i'm still have this bug. Iread somewhere it is because nvidia delete a feature to retrieve the resolution. I read that a long time ago, but i think it is xrand that use this feature. The old version of xrand use another feature of the nvidia driver that is still implemented. Wine use that for gaming, that is why in game executed by wine we can change the resolution.
