You have been subscribed to a public bug:
3D acceleration even of things like xscreensaver is terribly slow. Attempting
to run World of Warfact through WINE in OpenGL mode yields < 5fps frame rates.
This is obviously not a highly capable card, but it does have enough
capabilities to run World of Warcraft and at the very least run a 3D
accelerated xscreensaver.
I'm not a huge fan of ATI cards for this very reason, but I figured I
may as well test it for the sake of this distro. I'm assuming this is
an issue with the free driver as the X1550 is no longer supported by
ATI/AMD.
If there is anything I can do to troubleshoot, please let me know!
