Christopher, Graham, In my opinion it does not make sense to assign this bug to me. I opened https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1185911 for the problem (which is still being processed). There is a 'small catch'. Up to now, I fail to test if kernel v3.10.0 still holds the problem. It appears that a change in the proc file system interface causes the nvidia driver not to build nor install. This is laid down in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics- drivers-173/+bug/1186786. I just wonder how that will solve...
