I'm afraid this test won't be any helpful, because the problem doesn't occur immediately. Sometimes it shows up straight away, but sometimes it pops up out of nowhere after month or so, that's why I takes me sooo long to post my result, I have been checking it under all possible circumstances that were problematic. I cannot run live distro all the time, and frankly I do not want to reinstall my machine now, when it is stable after so long time. If you want me to boot up the live distro and check if the mouse work, sure, I can do it. But I cannot run it for a long.
