Hopefully someone from ~canonical-hwe-team (the guys that made the sputnik kernel with Sputnik's touchpad driver) will notice this bug (and maybe reassign it, because it's not a bug in synaptics).
Palm detection in CyPS/2 Cypress Trackpad's driver doesn't seem to work (maybe it's not implemented yet), because I tried turning it on via xinput set-prop "CyPS/2 Cypress Trackpad" "Synaptics Palm Detection" 1, but it didn't help (I can always open the dash by pressing my thumb(print) against the trackpad) .
